KOCH COMPANIES IN EUROPE

Based in Wichita, Kan., Koch Industries, Inc. is one of the largest private companies in America according to Forbes magazine. It owns a diverse group of companies involved in refining, chemicals and biofuels; process and pollution control equipment and technologies; minerals; fertilizers; polymers and fibers; commodity trading and services; forest and consumer products; and ranching. Koch companies have a presence in nearly 60 countries and employ about 67,000 people. Since 2003, Koch companies have completed about $45 billion in acquisitions and other capital expenditures.

In Europe, Koch companies employ nearly 8,000 people in sales, trading, marketing and manufacturing.

Koch Supply & Trading companies around the world trade and provide risk management services in crude oil; refined petroleum products; gas liquids; natural gas, power and emissions; industrial metals; and other commodities. One of the companies owns a refinery in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Koch Carbon, LLC and its subsidiaries globally trade and transport petroleum coke, coal, cement, pulp and paper, sulfur and other related commodities through a network of bulk import/export terminals in the United States and Europe.

Koch Fertilizer, LLC
and its subsidiaries own or have interests in nitrogen fertilizer plants in the United States, Canada, and Trinidad and Tobago, and cover global demand through terminals in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, France and the United Kingdom. Koch Fertilizer, LLC and its subsidiaries, including Koch Fertilizer Trading, Sarl; Koch Fertilizer Products, SAS; Koch Fertiliser, Ltd.; and J&H Bunn Ltd.;  have the capability to market and distribute more than 13 million metric tons of fertilizer products annually.

Flint Hills Resources, LLC
, through its subsidiaries, is a leading refining and chemicals company. Its subsidiaries market products such as gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, ethanol, biodiesel, olefins, polymers and intermediate chemicals, as well as base oils and asphalt. Other subsidiaries operate refineries in Alaska (North Pole), Minnesota (Rosemount) and Texas (Corpus Christi), with a combined crude oil processing capacity of more than 800,000 barrels per day. The petrochemical business includes production facilities in Illinois, Michigan and Texas that produce aromatics, olefins, polymers and intermediate chemicals. These commodity chemicals are marketed and distributed from offices in Europe. Various other subsidiaries operate ethanol plants in Iowa, produce and market asphalt in the Midwest and Alaska, and own an interest in a lubricants base oil facility in Louisiana.

Georgia-Pacific LLC, based in Atlanta, and its subsidiaries have approximately 300 manufacturing facilities across North America, South America and Europe, ranging from large pulp, paper and tissue operations to gypsum plants, box plants and building products operations. The company’s leading European brands include Lotus®, Colhogar®, Delica®, and the Demak’Up® brand of facial cleansing products. North American consumer brands include Quilted Northern®, Angel Soft®, Brawny®, Sparkle®, Soft ‘n Gentle®, Mardi Gras®, Vanity Fair® and the Dixie® brand of tabletop products. It also markets paper towel, napkin and soap dispensing systems used in commercial settings.
